The Faith Academy Lady Knight volleyball squad opened its tournament season with a secondplace finish in the silver division of its host tournament. Ella Polston represented Faith Academy by being named to the all-tournament team for her efforts.

After hearing the annual Friday Night Lights meet in The Woodlands was at risk of not returning, Sealy Head Cross Country Coach Anthony Branch thought his campus could host a season-opening meet under the bright lights.

The Faith Academy Cross Country team traveled to Houston Saturday, Aug. 14, to run in the Incarnate Word Meet against 22 schools.

Before the Brazos Cougar football team took the field at Cougar Stadium and started hitting at the crack of midnight, the squad unveiled new uniforms during a Media Day event at Brazos High School Friday, Aug. 6.

The annual midnight madness practice returned to Mark A. Chapman Field at T.J. Mills Stadium where members of the Sealy Tiger football team went full contact the earliest minute possible Saturday morning.

After competing in its first two scrimmages of the preseason, the Sealy Lady Tiger volleyball team opened the regular season Tuesday evening at home with a dual-match against Fort Bend Kempner and Katy Paetow.

The Sealy High School Tennis Camp opened last Monday morning for student-athletes entering kindergarten through high school. In the evening, high school student-athletes hit the court with Head Tennis Coach Joni Baxley running informal drills.
