The Buccaneers tossed their second no-hitter in 15 days as pitching staff continues to thrive At the beginning of the season, Dusty Hart predicted the strength of this year’s Blinn College baseball team would be its pitching.

The Sealy Lady Tigers defeated Needville, Sweeny and Columbia in back-toback- to-back games this past week to pick up their fourth, fifth and sixth win of the year. In those three games the Lady Tigers gave up only six runs while scoring 15 runs to win three games in a row.

The Brazos Cougars season came to an end in the Bi-District round against New Waverly by a score of 58-47. The Cougars season is over, but they have plenty of young talent they plan on having next year.

The Sealy Lady Tigers defeated the Bellville Brahmaettes 3-2 to keep a perfect 7-0 soccer record in district. In their last four games leading up to this game the Lady Tigers did not trail on the score board once and gave up zero goals.

What was the world like in 2013? For starters the world had a different Pope, Nelson Mandela had passed away, the NHL season just finished through a lockout and LeBron James was still on the Miami Heat, crazy times right?

The Bellville Brahmas were eliminated from the playoffs after they were defeated by Staffor 104-43. The Brahmas come up just short in the Bi-District Championship and now look ahead to next season where they hopefully get back to the Bi-District round and redeem themselves with a win.

The Brazos Cougars finished off their season with back-to-back losses to the top two teams in the district. Despite the losses the Cougars finished with a 5-5 record which has them in fourth place in the district, which is a playoff spot.

The Sealy lady Tigers picked up their first win of the season after they defeated the Weimar Ladycats 9-4 Tuesday night. The Lady Tigers got started with an early home run and just continued to build on that momentum for the rest of the game.
