The Bellville Brahmas were eliminated from the playoffs after they were defeated by Staffor 104-43. The Brahmas come up just short in the Bi-District Championship and now look ahead to next season where they hopefully get back to the Bi-District round and redeem themselves with a win.

The Brazos Cougars finished off their season with back-to-back losses to the top two teams in the district. Despite the losses the Cougars finished with a 5-5 record which has them in fourth place in the district, which is a playoff spot.

The Sealy lady Tigers picked up their first win of the season after they defeated the Weimar Ladycats 9-4 Tuesday night. The Lady Tigers got started with an early home run and just continued to build on that momentum for the rest of the game.

COLUMBUS - The Sealy Lady Tigers season came to an end last Tuesday after they were defeated by the La Grange Lady Leopards 68-65 in the Bi-District round. After the loss it was an emotional scene for the Lady Tigers as their season came to an end, but their head coach was proud of the fact that his team never quit.

The Bellville Brahmas defeated the La Grange Leopards 56-41 in one of their last district games of the year. The win helped the Brahmas lock up a playoff spot and solidify themselves in the third-place spot in the district standings.

On Thursday Feb. 6 the Sealy Junior High Girls Basketball team played La Grange for their final district matchup of the season.

Over their last four games the Bellville Brahmas and Brahmaettes played four games total, two each, and finished with a 3-1 record. The strong record helped the Brahmaettes clinch a playin playoff spot and helped the Brahmas climb the standings.

Last season the Lady Tigers had a 28-13 record overall and a 10-3 record in district to come in second place.
