The Sealy Tigers baseball team’s most recent three game stretch saw them put up a record of 1-2 during that time but the good news is they locked up a playoff spot. The Tigers took on the Almeta Crawford Chargers, the Van Vleck Leopards and then their cross-county rival the Bellville Brahmas.

With first place in the Region XIV South division still within its reach, the Blinn College softball team is happy adding tallies to the win column however they come. The Buccaneers pushed their winning streak to eight Tuesday with a 3-1, 8-6 doubleheader sweep of South foe Coastal Bend College at Hohlt Park in Brenham, Texas.

Noah Washington, a senior at Sealy High School put pen to paper on Monday, April 14, to continue his football career at Rochester Community and Technical College. “It feels amazing, I have been dreaming about this my whole life,” Washington said.

The Sealy Tigers baseball team played two district games against La Marque and Almeta Crawford and ended up on the winning side and the losing side of those games. The Tigers are looking to pick up one more win before the season ends to help them lock up a playoff spot and potentially move up the district standings.
