Houston – NAPA Auto Parts announced today plans to award a $2,500.00 scholarship to an area student who is aspiring to pursue a career as an automotive technician. This initiative underscores NAPA’s commitment to invest in its community and the next generation of prospective technicians by providing educational resources and scholarships to jumpstart their careers.

The Bellville Brahmas wrapped up their season by taking on the Caldwell Hornets and the Sealy Tigers. The Brahmas had home field advantage when they took on Caldwell but then hit the road to take on their cross-county rival in Sealy.

In the most recent three game stretch for the Brazos Cougars, they posted a 0-3 record to extend their losing streak to five games. The Cougars took on the likes of the Almeta Crawford Chargers, the Goliad Tigers and the Flatonia Bulldogs.

ATHENS – The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is pleased to announce the 2025 winners of the Texas division of the Wildlife Forever’s Fish Art Contest. The contest is housed and administered by TPWD’s Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center (TFFC) in Athens.
