The Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) is proud to announce the release of the May 2025 issue of Texas Coach magazine, “Meet your 2025 THSCA President-Elect Nominees.” The May issue focuses on the THSCA President- elect nominees by highlighting each nominee’s career history and accolades. Nominees will be voted on at the THSCA General Meeting on Tuesday, July 22nd at 11:30 AM during Coaching School in San Antonio, Texas. Featuring voices from coaches statewide, the May issue delivers personal stories, practical advice, and motivational messages to uplift fellow coaches.

The Brazos Cougarette’s softball team were eliminated in the Bi-District round of the playoffs after being swept by Anderson-Shiro. With the end of the season comes the All-District honors, and the Cougarettes saw eight of their players selected to the All-District team.

The Brazos Cougars saw eight of their players be selected to the All-District team for the 2025 season. In addition to that one of the eight players selected was chosen as the Offensive MVP for the district.
