The Sealy Major All-Star softball team has won the District 13 Championship with a 3-1 record. The Major All-Star team played in the tournament in Giddings and posted a 3-1 record to win the championship.

The Sealy Minor All-Star softball team defeated the Twin Cities Minor All-Star team by a score of 8-6 this past Monday. This win comes after the Sealy Minor All-Stars defeated Grimes County 32-14 as they picked up their second win in a row.

The Columbus Aquatic Team hosted a scheduled meet this past Saturday at the Columbus City Pool. They welcomed in the Fayette Area Swim Team, AKA F.A.S.T., and they competed for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place ribbons.

Sophomores Tocarra Johnson and Jonesha Neal were also honored as the 2024-25 Don Wilhelm Award winners Blinn College women’s basketball head coach said goodbye to his 2023-24 freshman class this spring, and nine of those players will soon be saying hello to their new destinations. Nine Buccaneers will be moving on to four-year programs to continue their athletic and academic ventures this fall, including a pair of NCAA Division I signees, five NCAA DII commits, and two National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) commits.

For the third consecutive season, a Blinn College baseball player has landed on the NJCAA Division I All-America list. Only this time around, it’s two players.

The Brazos Coach Pitch All-Star softball team came in 2nd place at the East Bernard Tournament. They posted a 4-2 record overall in the tournament and came up just short in the championship game to come home with silver medals.
