The Sealy High School Tigers had 10 players selected to the All-District team on the defensive side of the ball. The Tigers’ offense was exciting to watch this season, there is no denying it, defensively though they had a really great year.

The Sealy High School Lady Tigers improved 5-1 in the district schedule after they defeated Harmony School of Innovation 78-32 Tuesday night. Since their first district loss to Fort Bend Willowridge the Lady Tigers have been on a roll with a four-game win streak.

The Sealy Tigers ended their season in the Regional Quarterfinal round with a 48-30 loss to La Vega. The fact that they were in the Regional Quarterfinals showed that they were a good team, good teams have good players and good players get selected to the All-District team.

The Sealy Tigers welcomed the St. Thomas Catholic Eagles to their home field to start the 2025 off with some high-flying soccer action. The Tigers struggled to get anything going on offense which hurt them on the scoreboard. Their defense played a strong game despite what the scoreboard showed. St. Thomas was some stiffer competition that what the Tigers will see later in the season and held their own against a team that has averaged close to six goals a game.

The Bellville Lady Brahmas are taking their time settling into the season after getting started later than most of the teams. They are using tournament play to make up for lost time and slowly but surely the lady Brahmas are starting to come together and get on the same page.

This will be the last article of the season to give an update on the TAPPS State awards for the Faith Academy Knights football team. “Let me start off by saying that it was an honor to coach this tight knit group of young men,” said FA Head Football Coach Trey Carter.
