When you hear those words “It’s a marathon not a sprint” it could have multiple meanings in every aspect of life. In sports, this is the mindset that  carries you to victory. That's the message the Sealy Volleyball head coach Caroline Owen preached to her players the entire game, even when facing insurmountable odds.

SEALY FALLS TO MADISONVILLE 38-14

Sealy dropped a 38-14 district decision to Madisonville on the road last Friday. Sealy will be looking to bounce back into the win column in district this Friday when the Tigers host Caldwell in their final home contest of the season. SJH Lady Tigers sweep past Smithville

The Lady Tigers traveled to Smithville on Monday Oct. 21. All four teams fought hard, and made a clean sweep and won all four games. Cougarettes are playoff bound

WALLIS - After a long-drawn-out season, the Brazos Lady Cougars are now playoff bound once again. For the entire year, the slogan for this team was ‘Leave no doubt’, despite a grueling start which included a 7-game losing streak, the Cougars had no doubt indeed and found the light at the end of the tunnel. ecured a playoff spot, which is the culmination of a grueling season. In the first set Brazos started off strong, winning 25-9, a fast start with the offense causing damage. In the second set it was more of the same, the Cougars won 25-9 once again and they were on the brink of a sweep, however in the third, Hitchcock came out firing and it was a close set, the Cougars eventually pulled away 25-15 resulting in a full sweep.

The Sealy Junior High Lady Tigers traveled to Bellville on Monday Oct. 14. The 7th grade A and B team struggled after the break and fell short.
