COLUMBUS - In medieval times whenever, royalty was celebrated there was also a tournament that showcased a sort of controlled violence where two knights enter the arena, and only one leaves victorious. On Friday, Sept. 27, in Columbus, it was no different but there was more of an edge to this one because old foes came face-to-face for the first time in a while.

Knights pull off big win in Lake Jackson

The Eagles of Brazosport were favored in the contest by 7. The Knights would end up prevailing in double overtime 56-48. 

Senior Travis Woodley would lead the Knights on both sides of the ball. He had four TDs, three rushing and one receiving. He also had 16 tackles. One of the top plays of the young season for the Knights came from Junior Joshua Stark on the kickoff to open the 2nd half.
