Sealy faces Bay City in crucial match

When the Sealy Tigers faced off with Bay City last year, Sealy Head Football Coach Clint Finley knew the Blackcats were the best team the Tigers had met in that season to that point. Again, that challenge is raised this Friday when Sealy travels to Bay City to take on the Blackcats at 7 p.m.

Sealy rolls to easy win over Brazosport 30-6 The Sealy football machine kept chugging down the tracks last Friday as the Tigers rolled past Brazosport 30-6 to remain undefeated at 3-0 on the season. “I was proud of the outcome,” said Sealy Head Football Coach Clint Finley.

The Brazos Cougars cross country team competed in the Van Vleck Invitational Cross Country Meet Wednesday in Bay City. In the varsity girls’ two-mile race which had 91 runners, Stephaniah Phillips placed 15th.

Brazos dumps St. John’s; takes aim at Schulenburg next

Brazos junior Jarvais Dickerson rushed for two touchdowns and passed for two more to pace the Cougars to a convincing 59-21 victory over St. John’s XXIII last Friday night. Sophomore Carter Morrison also added three rushing touchdowns in the win that moved Brazos to 3-0 on the season.
