Former Bellville superstar in latest college football video game

Richard Reese was a superstar during his time at Bellville High School but now he is enjoying a different level of superstardom by being a playable character in the video game College Football 25. Reese is featured on the Baylor roster and comes in at 79 overall which makes a lot of sense looking at his long list of accomplishments.

Brazos Interim Superintendent Dave Plymale said the BISD Board of Trustees approved appointing Audie Jackson as the Interim Athletic Director/Head Football Coach, effective immediately.

Jackson, who joined BISD this summer as the defensive coordinator, brings a wealth of experience to our district. With 30 years of coaching experience across various schools in Texas, Jackson's expertise is a tremendous asset to our athletic programs. Notably, he served as the athletic coordinator and head football coach at Willis ISD from 2008 to 2017.

Blinn College head baseball coach Dusty Hart has been named the 2024 American Baseball Coaches Association/ ATEC National Coach of the Year for NJCAA Division I Baseball. The ABCA/ATEC National and Regional Coaches of the Year are selected by members of the ABCA All-America & Coach of the Year Committees in nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division and high school.
