On Friday night the Bellville Brahmas faced off against the Waco Connally CadetsinMerrillGreenStadium, theBrahmasdefeated theCadetssoundly35-0and it was predicated off the play of Travis Turner. He rushed for158yardsandtwotouchdowns as the Waco Connally defensehadnoanswerfor his play.

On Friday, the Sealy Tigers are set to play the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns at 7 p.m. at Woodforest Bank Stadium. Sealy is coming off a dominating performance defeating the Robinson Rockets 63-34. Kane Killough Finished with eight total touchdowns and over 300 yards from scrimmage. Wide receiver Noah Washington had four total touchdowns and 57 yards receiving, he also had a 70-yard pass to Steven Schwartz which led to a touchdown.

Sealy girls’ varsity basketball captured its first tournament win of the season going 4-0 over the weekend. Senior Elizabeth Reichardt won the tournament MVP while senior Hannah Diemer and junior Addison Clark made the All-Tournament Team.

Playoffs are here and the excitement is at fever pitch, after a solid 8-3 season, the Sealy Tigers finally faced off against the Robinson Rockets at Merrill Green Stadium. Once the ball was tipped, magic ensued, and the magic came from junior quarterback Kane Killough.

The Buccaneers ran the NJCAA half marathon for the first time in school history The Blinn College cross country program concluded its return campaign at the NJCAA Men’s & Women’s Half Marathon Championships on Tuesday at Dorey Park in Richmond, Va.

The Sealy Junior High Lady Tigers finished out their volleyball season last week facing off against the La Grange Leopards. 7th grade B won 25-18 and 25-13.

Pre-District The girls worked hard throughout the summer coming in twice a week to improve on their skills and build team chemistry. With that being said, the start of the season was still rough. Communication was non-existent and the flow of working together had not yet formed. But the girls continued to work hard in practice and improve.

After a tumultuous season, the Brazos Cougars captured their first district win, defeating the Industrial Cobras 31-9. It was a perfect storm for Brazos, everything on offense started clicking at the right time and the Cobras couldn’t do anything about it.

On Friday night, the Sealy Tigers xperienced a breath of fresh air that’s been missing for the past few weeks. It came in the form of its starting quarterback Kane Killough; he’s been injured for the past couple of weeks with a shoulder injury suffered against Giddings.

In the second round of the playoffs, the Sealy Lady Tigers lost to Gateway College Prep 3-0 at Luling High School. This caps off a magical season where the girls went undefeated in district with a 14-0 record, won the bi-district championship and finished with a 32-14 overall record.
