Tigers fall to La Vega 48-30 Throughout history, the saying always stayed consistent, “All good things come to an end” This game was no different, the Sealy Tigers fell to the La Vega Pirates 48-30 on Friday night, ending their historic quarterfinal run. During the entire season the Tigers dealt with their fair share of ups and downs; injuries, close losses and thrilling games decided by crucial last-minute plays.

SJH basketball splits games with Bellville

On Monday Dec. 2 the Sealy Junior High Girls Basketball team traveled to Bellville for a district showdown. ith the score of 21-19. High scorer for the team was Paisley Beir scoring 8 points. Brooklyn Hundl added 6 points to the team’s total. Cora Maloney did a great job under the basket and scored 3 points. Flor Morino and Taylor Writer each scored 2 points to the scoreboard.
Cougarettes pick up second win of the year

The Brazos Cougarettes secured their second win of the year after they defeated Ganado 28-24 last Tuesday night. The Cougarettes played a very strong first half but ran into a little bit of adversity in the second half that they had to overcome.
