Applications are now being accepted for the 2022 Bluebonnet Master Gardner Intern Class which will be held in Bellville. For anyone interested in participating in the Master Gardener training program, the deadline for signing up is Thursday, Jan.

The Garden Club of Sealy recently announced the Yards of the Month for September, one for business and one for a home. The Business Yard of the Month was chosen as the Sealy American Legion Hall at 1630 Meyer Street.

For the third year, the Sealy Area Historical Society will sponsor a marker cleaning day at the Sealy Cemetery Oct. 2 from 9 a.m. until noon. Dramatic results have been obtained in previous years, making very old markers beautiful and legible once again.
