Austin County 4-H member, Hunter Schumann, was awarded a $10,000 Richard Wallrath Educational Foundation Scholarship at the Texas 4-H Roundup event held in College Station, Texas. District 11 4-H members were awarded over $303,000 in 4-H scholarships in 2021 and Austin County 4-H is proud to have a recipient contributing to this total.

July 20, Missouri University of Science and Technology announced the names of students who made the honor list for the Spring 2021 semester. To be included on the honor list, students must have carried a minimum of 12 hours and had grade point averages of 3.2 or above out of a possible 4.0.
