FA harriers compete at Ganado Meet

The Faith Academy Track Team competed at the Ganado Meet on Thursday, Feb 19. The Knights, the lone private school, joined fourteen public school teams. The competition they receive is tough, but it prepares them for their Regional Meet, and hopefully they will qualify for the State Meet, which is the ultimate goal. Their individual goals are to try to place in the Top 6. The following did just that:

Lady Tigers softball start season 9-1

The Sealy Lady Tigers softball team have taken the field to start the softball season playing in 10 games so far this year. The Lady Tigers went on a seven-game winning streak defeating Mayde Creek, Columbus, Bellville, Klein Cain, Fulshear, Seven Lakes and Cypress Ranch with a combined score of 58-7. Then they took on Foster and lost their first game of the year with a score of 4-2. But then bounced back with back-to-back wins over Needville and Bellville with a combined score of 16-0.

No. 5 Blinn picks up another team win with triumph at Jack Brown Memorial Invitational

The fifth-ranked Blinn College women’s golf team began its spring season exactly how it ended the fall – with a victory. The Buccaneers combined to shoot 17-over par during the two-day, two-round Jack Brown Memorial Invitational at Lakecliff Country Club in Spicewood, Texas.
