The Sealy Tigers football team had a strong season in 2025 that ended a little too early. But the good news is one of their players is still being recognized for his efforts this season. Case Lyons was an offensive lineman for the Tigers this season and was a big reason why they were so successful in the run and pass attack. He opened plenty of lanes for his running backs to run through and made sure that quarterback Kane Killough had a clean pocket to operate in. Fans noticed his hard work in the trenches this season and he earned a spot on the 4A Fan Vote All-Texas Team.

The Brazos Cougarettes softball team picked up their ninth win of the season and snapped a four-game losing streak. They defeated Sommerville in a very close game that saw the Cougarettes defense shine brightly as they won the game 2-0.

The Wallis Brazos Cougarettes have played 16 games so far this season on the softball field and won eight of those games. The Cougarettes have been making their way through their pre-district schedule and have played and beaten some very talented teams.
