The Blinn College District has named 2,207 students to its academic honors lists for the spring 2023 semester. Blinn named 1,091 students to its Chancellor’s Scholars List and 1,116 to the Deans’ Scholars List.

Wanted Austin County fugitive arrested by task force

A wanted fugitive was arrested by the United States Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offender Task Force June 27. Anthony Jacobs, 28, was arrested in Richmond on criminal charges stemming from Austin County.
