Early voting has begun for a proposition to raise the maximum tax rate of Austin County Emergency Services District No. 1 from $0.03/$100 to $0.06/$100.

Special to the Sealy News The Vittles With Vets Resource Fair is scheduled to take place in Austin County April 29 with the American Legion Hall serving as the event venue. Veterans are invited to attend the free event, where food and prizes will be offered throughout the day.
