Sealy Cemetery marker cleaning set for Oct. 2

For the third year, the Sealy Area Historical Society will sponsor a marker cleaning day at the Sealy Cemetery Oct. 2 from 9 a.m. until noon. Dramatic results have been obtained in previous years, making very old markers beautiful and legible once again.

Jury finds Underwood guilty

An Austin County jury found Myhaa Underwood, formerly of Houston, guilty of tampering with evidence before District Judge Jeff Steinhauser September 15, 2021. The jury sentenced Underwood, 28, to 6 years in prison and a $4,000.00 fine, but probated the prison sentence.
