Kuespert, Cano crowned Faith Academy Homecoming royalty

Last Friday night’s weather was a perfect night for Faith Academy’s 2021 Homecoming game in the Sabrsula Stadium. Faith Academy’s David Sobey was in the announcer’s booth calling all the plays as our Athletic Coordinator Yvonne Woods readied herself to introduce our Homecoming Court and host the halftime Homecoming Ceremony.

BNSF donates to ACESD

Thursday, Oct. 21, Austin County Emergency Services District No. 2 in Sealy received a $10,000 grant from BNSF Railway Foundation as a Contribution towards the Critical Radio Infrastructure Program to purchase radios. Sealy News moves offices

The contracts have been signed, the keys were transferred and The Sealy News has officially moved into its new office at 327 Fowlkes Street in downtown Sealy after 25 years on Schmidt Road. A worthy cause

The seventh annual Bras 4 a Cause event at Saddleback Saloon Oct. 23 raised the second-highest total amount of donations for breast cancer awareness as a star-studded lineup modeled bras that were auctioned off. Once the dust settled, more than $11,000 was raised to be donated to the Memorial Hermann-Katy Breast Cancer Center.
