Wallis resident gets life for sex acts

Former Victoria County parole officer Saralyn Proschko was sentenced to life without parole and fined $10,000 on Aug. 8 after pleading guilty to the aggravated sexual assault of a child under six that occurred in Wallis back in 2015, according to a press release written by the Austin County District Attorney’s office.
