Body
The final crop of track and field athletes was whittled down to the tops in Texas following regional championship action across the lone star state last week. Tiger golf team finishes eighth

Body
The Sealy Tiger golf team wrapped up its season at the Region III Championship at the Raven Nest Golf Club in Huntsville as the eighth-place team with a high individual finish in 17th overall. Although head coach Cody Carruthers has taken an individual golfer to regionals every year he’s been in Sealy, this year was the first time the Tigers brought a whole team thanks in part to Ethan Doyle’s first-place individual finish at the district championship in Navasota.

Sports physicals set

Body
The University Interscholastic League requires every student-athlete from grade 9 to 12 to have an annual pre-participation physical exam before the upcoming school year. Sealy High School athletics said in an April 23 statement that it will offer physicals during the athletic period May 5.

Knights fall to Rams

The Faith Academy Knight baseball team took a hard-fought loss to the Allen Academy Rams last Tuesday on the road, 15-5. The visitors started hot and racked up five runs on seven hits over the first four innings but the host Rams used three-, five- and four-run innings in their final three innings to secure the victory.
