Sealy Independent School District voted against allowing homeschoolers to participate in University Interscholastic League (UIL), updated the student code of conduct and discussed other changes during its meeting on Wednesday, July 30.

BSR Properties, the developer of Hunter’s Crossing, requested a development agreement to build smaller home lots at the Sealy City Council meeting, Monday, July 7. BSR Properties’ proposed development agreement for Hunter’s Crossing would allow the construction of single-family residential detached dwellings 45 and 50 feet wide.

Sealy Police Department coordinated with the Austin County Justice Center to arrest a juvenile for motor vehicle burglaries on Monday, July 14. The burglar scavenged seven unlocked cars in the Westview and Shadowlake areas of Sealy, between 2-4 a.m., Sunday, June 29.
