Feb. 7, 1983 – Jan. 14, 2025 With profound sadness, we share the unexpected passing of Elvie Ray Johnson, Jr., of Sheffield, AL, on Jan. 14, 2025, at the young age of 41. Our family is heartbroken by this overwhelming loss, and the pain of his absence will be felt intensely by those who loved him.

Johnnie Jeanette Klatt passed from this life on Dec. 1, 2024, at the age of 81, surrounded by many loved ones and family members.

David (Bud) Noel Tedford, 97, resident of Sealy, for 22 years went to Heaven on Feb. 7, 2025. He was born in Iowa Park, on June 2, 1927. He grew up in Wichita Falls. He was raised by a single mom during the Great Depression era, the youngest of six siblings.

LEO DELLE CARLSON Leo Delle Carlson, 96, of Houston, passed away on Jan. 17, 2025.

MARIE JOSEPHINE (SUROVCAK) STASTNY Marie Josephine (Surovcak) Stastny, born March 17, 1926, on St. Patrick’s Day, in Sealy, Texas to Martin and Frances (Machala) Surovcak, passed away peacefully at Arbor Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Eagle Lake, Texas, on Dec. 13, 2024.

Gloria Lois Abel Havemann was born July 20, 1937, to Andrew and Birdie (Meltke) Abel in Bellville. Gloria attended Piney School and Bellville High.

Yvonne Marie Prats, born on May 19, 1967, passed away on Jan. 19, 2025, after an unnecessary fight for her life in Richmond.

Marie had a love and curiosity for learning.
