Though answered in part, the question from last week remains: “Is Christianity a copycat religion?” It is an essential question that critics of Christianity often ask, and rightly so. After all, the oldest clay tablet fragments we have of The Great Flood story are not from the Genesis account but are from at least two other and much older accounts; one written in Sumerian and the other embedded in The Epic of Gilgamesh.

Garden Club of Sealy to host Fall Plant Sale Oct. 11 The Garden Club of Sealy will have its 2nd Annual Fall Plant Sale on Oct. 11 at the American Legion Hall Parking lot from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a ribbon cutting with the Sealy Chamber at 10 a.m. Shop a mix of Fall bedding plants and shrubs, Texas natives, pollinator plants, houseplant, succulents and more grown by our members. Cakes, pies and other desserts will be available. All proceeds are used for local Sealy student scholarships.
