The Sealy Assembly #2103 Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, the patriotic order, made a monetary presentation to Austin County’s HOA Meals on Wheels program May 4.

Peace Officers Memorial Day and Police Week is an observance in the United States that pays tribute to the local, state, tribal and federal peace officers who have died, or who have been disabled, in the line of duty.

Sealy High School alumnus Matthias Litzmann not only completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Sam Houston State in three years, but he will graduate May 13 with honors from the Elliott T. Bowers Honors College, honors from the university and summa cum laude, the highest Latin honors.

The momentum generated following first-place finishes at district and bi-district with its production of Stoneface, however, made everyone believe state was a real possibility.

After the dust had settled last Saturday following May 1’s General Election, some incumbents and some newly elected candidates were deemed unofficial winners of races. All votes will become official after being canvassed by the local entity.
