Sealy ISD assesses water damage

The Sealy ISD Board of Trustees held an emergency meeting Monday at noon in the junior high school cafeteria to assess water damages from recent storms. Project Manager Mike Zapalac explained the junior high and administration building had more than an inch of water infiltrate the building Saturday night and Cotton Global Disaster Solutions had been on campus doing work nonstop since Sunday at 2 a.m.

Janicek sworn in to Sealy Police Department

Last Tuesday morning June 1, Hunter Janicek was sworn in to the Sealy Police Department in the council chambers of Sealy City Hall surrounded by family, friends and co-workers. Janicek will serve Sealy PD as a Patrol Officer and he owns previous law enforcement experience with the Austin County Sheriff’s Office and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. Janicek is a graduate of Brazos High School.
