The Sealy Fire department held a training day at the station for new hires and volunteers last month. Between 12-15 applicants apply for volunteer and duty crews every year, recruiting them through job fairs, TCFP job postings, social media and word of mouth.

Sealy PD mourning loss of K9 Apollo The Sealy Police Department is mourning the loss of a devoted team member on Sept. 11 as they announced the passing of K9 Apollo.

Last year, Sealy showed up and showed out for the annual Bras for a Cause event that is held annually as a fund-raiser for breast cancer research. This year, the challenge is to surpass last year’s stunning donation.
