The Lady Knights were in San Antonio Oct. 12-14 playing in the TAIAO Regional Championships. The Lady Knights started the weekend out on a roll posting wins against Town East Christian (2513,25-6) BACH (25-11,254) Gloria Deo (22-25, 25-23).

The Sealy Junior High Lady Tigers played La Grange on Thursday Oct. 12 to finish the first round of district play.

The battle for bragging rights in Austin County takes place this Friday night in Bellville as Sealy travels to the Pasture of Pain for a District 10 matchup. “They are a heck of a football team.

The Sealy boys’ cross-country team captured first place at the District 25-4A Cross County Meet held at Sealy High School. The Sealy varsity girls captured second place at the district meet.

The Sealy Lady Tigers moved to 6-2 in district play with a pair of wins last week. Sealy started the week by hitting the 30-win barrier for the season with a sweep of Wharton at home.

Faith Academy’s 2023 Homecoming game vs Faith West Academy was played at Sab Stadium on Sept. 29. Earlier in the day at the HOCO pep rally, the King was crowned to be followed by the crowning of the Queen at the game’s halftime. The Faith Academy 2023 Homecoming King and Queen are Noah Figueroa and Noelle Walker.

The Brazos Cougars cross country team competed in the Blackcat Invitational Cross-Country Meet on Thursday in Bay City. The varsity girls team finished fifth in the varsity girls’ race with 117 points.

Brazos fell to 1-2 in district play after suffering a 28-0 loss to East Bernard last Friday night on the Road. East Bernard held a 7-0 lead at the halftime break but was able to explode for 21 unanswered points in the second half to claim the win.
