The Lady Knights opened the playoffs in commanding fashion last Thursday, earning a three-set sweep over Austin Classical Academy to move on to the second round. From the first serve, the Lady Knights set the tone with strong communication, sharp serves, and solid defense.

The Faith Academy Bellville Junior High Knights went head-to-head against the Bryan St. Joseph Eagles in a thrilling, backand- forth contest that tested the team’s heart, grit, and determination. Though the Knights ultimately fell short on the scoreboard, their effort under the lights told a much bigger story — one of perseverance, teamwork, and growth.

The Sealy Lady Tigers started their playoff journey in the Bi-District round of the playoffs where they faced Caldwell. It took four sets to decide the winner in this one, and when the dust settled, the Lady Tigers were crowned Bi-District Champions.

The Faith Academy Knights travelled to Bryan to take on the St Joseph Eagles on Friday. This game would essentially be for the playoff berth both teams are after. It would be a knockdown, dragout type game, that the Knights would eventually pull ahead, 81-57.

The TAPPS State Cross Country Meet was held in Waco at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course on Monday, Oct. 27. It was a full day of racing with 1A - 6A schools competing for the coveted award of State Champion.
