The Wallis Brazos Cougarettes took on the Hitchcock Bulldogs and needed only three sets to pick up the win. The Cougarettes win over Hitchcock also locks them into a playoff spot as they slowly shift their focus to their playoff journey.

The Wallis Brazos Cougarettes volleyball team is 2nd place in the district standings with a 6-2 record after defeating Hempstead. The Cougarettes swept Hempstead out of their building in three straight sets but even though it was a sweep it was a very competitive game.

The Sealy Tiger football team bounced back after a district opening loss and took a 56-7 win over the Giddings Buffaloes. The Friday night game in Giddings was a District 11 4A DII game, and it gives the Tigers a 1-1 district mark. Sealy stands 6-1 for the season. Giddings’ record falls to 2-5 season and 0-2 district.

The Sealy Lady Tigers volleyball team is now a perfect 11-0 in District play after defeating the Royal Eagles in their most recent District match. It took only three sets for the Lady Tigers to be declared the winners, and they dominated the game from start to finish.
