The Columbus Cardinals traveled to Bellville to take on the Bellville Brahmas at the Pasture of Pain last Friday night. The Cards from Colorado County ended up defeating the Brahmas from Austin County by a score for 20-7.

The Bellville Brahmas slipped past the Hitchcock Bulldogs 17-14 in Bellville last Friday night. While Bellville won on the scoreboard, the Bulldogs won the statistical battle.

Sealy and Bay City, two undefeated Class 4A football teams, met head-on on the Mark Chapman Field and played in TJ Mills Stadium in Sealy. And when the smoke cleared the Sealy Tigers remained undefeated with a 35-7 win. However, Sealy coaches should find little trouble to find things to work on as the Tigers committed 16 penalties for 137 yards and had several huge gainers called back.

The Sealy Lady Tigers won their last two district volleyball games to start their district schedule with a 3-0 record. The Lady Tigers defeated Freeman and Fort Bend Willowridge this past week and only need six sets to do it.

The Brazos Cougarettes volleyball team traveled to Weimar to take on the Ladycats this past week. They were met with a loss in three straight sets to the Ladycats so let’s jump on in and see what happened during the game.

The Brazos Cougars played host to the Schulenburg Shorthorns Friday night to celebrate their Homecoming. The Cougars scored a whopping 65 points on their way to a victory Friday night in a 65-18 win for Homecoming.
