Two Bellville graduates were listed on The University of Texas at Tyler students who were named to the spring 2025 President’s Honor Roll. Bellville’s Emmie Defrates, College of Arts & Sciences and Carissa Foster, Soules College of Business were named to the President’s Honor Roll.

All For One festival offers something for everyone

For the third straight year, the All for One Festival was held in Sealy. This year, the festival moved to 807 San Felipe Road in Sealy but once again was hosted by Albert “Lucky” Lane. “The name All for One means a lot to me,” said Lane. “It means all of us as a community can come together and have a great time. I was asked in an email “What part of the community will be invited?” I didn’t like the question because I never had plans to eliminate any part of our community from participating. Shortly after being asked that I renamed the festival “Sealy Texas All For One.”

AUSTIN — With overwhelming bipartisan, near-unanimous support, the Texas Legislature has passed Senate Bill 2361 (SB 2361), legislation that officially transfers the University of Houston – Victoria (UH-V) to the Texas A&M University System, renaming the institution Texas A&M –Victoria.

7th and 8th graders from as far as Austin participated in the immersive camp featuring Blinn’s state-of-theare clinical simulation labs With precision and confidence, Trisha Mehta calmy wraps a blood pressure cuff around her patient’s arm to check his vitals. Despite the hospital setting, Mehta is not a nurse or doctor, she is one of the 20 middle school students participating in the Blinn College District’s annual Health Sciences Summer Camp.
