The city of Sealy has won its second appeal by former City Manager Lloyd Merrell after he sued the city on numerous claims in March of 2021. Merrell had sued the city after serving as city manager for the city from February 2018 through March 2021.

Six years ago, Sealy and Austin County was rocked by the tragic deaths of two young children in an automobile accident. Their parents have worked diligently every year to keep their children’s memories alive and well in the community and last Friday, donated a Buddy Bench to Selman Elementary to honor Greysen Droddy and Greyson Harper, who died in the accident six years ago.

Faith Academy Bellville’s 4th grade class spent an amazing day at The George Ranch Historical Park Complex on Nov. 30. The George Ranch is located in Richmond and is a living history project of the Fort Bend History Association and The George Foundation.
