Council cancels Harvest Festival

Body
After a recommendation from the city staff, the Sealy Harvest Festival was canceled during the Oct. 18 Sealy City Council meeting. “We had approved this previously and (Sealy City Manager) Kimbra (Hill) got some follow up details that maybe at this time it’s not appropriate for us to move forward. So, we would like to have a motion as the staff report indicates that we cancel this event,” Sealy Mayor Bilski said. Sealy Councilmember Dee Anne Lerma motioned and a second from councilmember Edward Zapalac, which passed unanimously.
