After a week of district competition following Spring Break, eight Sealy High School students earned spots at the Regional UIL Academics meet which will be held April 21-22 in Corpus Christi. The Poetry and Prose team has three members advanced.

Special to the Sealy News The Vittles With Vets Resource Fair is scheduled to take place in Austin County April 29 with the American Legion Hall serving as the event venue. Veterans are invited to attend the free event, where food and prizes will be offered throughout the day.

In an effort to reach out to high school students still searching for a career path after they graduate, Apex Stone hosted the West Houston Masonry Day last Thursday at its Sealy location. Apex Stone joined forces with the Texas Masonry Council to try and get high school students interested in the trade of masonry.
