Pork steak dinner set for Aug. 18 The Sealy Knights of Columbus will be serving a grilled pork steak Drive Thru Dinner, Sunday, Aug. 18 at the Sealy Columbus Club Hall at 1310 Hwy 90 West, Sealy Serving from 10:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for only $13 a plate. Most major credit cards are also now accepted. The menu will include grilled pork steak, mashed potatoes, green beans and a roll. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Sealy Christian Food Pantry.
County approved for FEMA assistance

Just as Austin County has been approved by FEMA for Hurrican Beryl assistance, the Disaster Center at the Bellville Police Department closed its doors for service. Residents of Austin County are now eligible to apply for assistance from FEMA if they sustained damage resulting from Hurricane Beryl as now claims will be accepted from county residents.
