COVID-19 vaccine plans advance to Phase 1C

The state’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout plan took the next step on Monday of this week and advanced to Phase 1C to make those who are at least 50 years old eligible for vaccination. Austin County Judge Tim Lapham said as of the beginning of the week, the county had 6483 residents that had received at least one dose of vaccine and 2813 that were considered fully vaccinated.

The Sealy High School One Act Play was recently crowned as the District 24-4A Champions and advanced to the Bi-District Championship thanks to all-star cast and crew members. The Sealy UIL One Act Play company of Stoneface earned firstplace rankings from all of the judges and had two earn best actor recognition.

FFA makes debut

Sealy FFA Land Judging Team ended months of no contests with a fifth-place finish at the Tompkins CDE last weekend.
