The Texas Veterans Commission recently awarded Hope For The Warriors (HOPE) a $150,000 one-year grant. GLO awarded approximately $84.6 million to 14 coastal counties through two major coastal protection programs, including several projects on TPWD lands.

Maria, as a result of a heart attack, died in the emergency room of a hospital. While doctors and nurses frantically worked to resuscitate her, Maria experienced an out-of-body event that she later described drifting through the ceiling and outside of the hospital.
