This past weekend the Sealy Lady Tigers competed in the Schulenburg Lady Horn Tournament. “We went 4-2 finishing 3rd in a very competitive 16 team tournament,” said Sealy Head Girls Basketball Coach Brateicka Mock.

Blinn College alumnus and current Iowa State University wide receiver Xavier Hutchinson has been named a finalist for the 2022 Biletnikoff Award. The prestigious achievement is awarded annually to the top receiver in NJCAA Division I football.

The Faith Academy Knights football team travelled to Victoria to take on Arlington Heights Christian in the semi-final round of the TAIAO playoffs. This ended up being the last game of the year for the Knights, coming up just short 40-38.

Wernecke earns Utililty player MVP; Nunn named return specialist for Sealy The mark of any good team often comes on not only how good their playoff run was but when the all-district teams are named when the season is over. This year, Sealy finished off another successful football season by having seven players named to the first-team offensive and defensive squads for District 10-4A.

The Sealy Lady Tigers basketball squad is off to a 4-4 start to the 202223 season under the direction of Brateicka Mock, head coach for the team this year. As you all know basketball season is now in full swing.

After finishing the season with a 26-16 record and a 9-5 mark in district, the Sealy Lady Tigers placed five players on the District 25-4A all district teams that were announced recently. Annabelle Williams led the way for Sealy with a first-team selection.
