In Houston, Broadway at the Hobby Center generated more than $61 MILLION IN ECONOMIC IMPACT The Broadway League reports that touring Broadway productions generated $5.7 billion in economic impact nationwide, according to its Economic Impact of Touring Broadway 2023– 2024 report released earlier this month. The report highlights how touring Broadway productions generate substantial direct spending by producers, presenters and venues, while drawing audiences into downtown districts where they support local restaurants, hotels and retail businesses.
