Lions Sealy Dance Club hosts dance Sept. 7 The Lions Sealy Dance Club is having a dance on Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Sealy American Legion Hall. The band, Texas Sound Check, will be providing live music from 7:30 to 11 p.m. The public is always welcome.
In order to retain some of its teaching talent, Sealy ISD will be looking for a Voter Approval Tax Rate election in November to raise those needed funds. The decision was made during last week’s meeting of the Sealy ISD Board of Trustees meeting.
A police chase that began in Fort Bend County came to an end in Austin County and resulted in the arrest of an Edinburg man. Javier Garcia, 27 of Edinburg, was arrested and booked into the Fort Bend County Jail Aug.

The Bluebonnet Master Gardeners of Austin County are pleased to present the 2024 Fall “LunchN-Learn” series which is hosted on the third Tuesday of each month from August through November. Overall, the series features topics related to horticulture with homeowners and backyard gardeners in mind.
