Bellville High School had 26 seniors honored with academic allstate distinction from the Texas High School Coaches Association and Texas Army National Guard when the lists were announced May 6. To be honored, student-athletes, trainers and managers had to be a senior in good standing with the team, of good moral character and had maintained an overall grade point average of 92 or above in all classes from grades 9-11 and courses completed in grade 12.

Early Childhood Intervention Field Day, May 22 The Region III Early Childhood Intervention program is celebrating its 40th year of operation by kicking off the summer with its free Family Field Day Saturday, May 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
