Sealy High School seniors took to the streets and paraded down Highway 90 last Thursday, May 20, as part of end-of-the-year events leading up to Friday’s graduation ceremony. Vehicles of all shapes, sizes and colors, some decorated and others not, took turns waving to the crowd that lined the street to congratulate them. Mudbugs on Main, hold the rain

The rain held off and locals enjoyed a crawfish boil, live music, games and prizes in downtown Sealy at the annual Mudbugs on Main event hosted by the Shops of Downtown Sealy Saturday, May 22. After the originally scheduled event got rained out May 1, Babette LaMoria-Smith, owner of Patches by Smith and Co., said her prayers were answered and the community came out in droves.

Scholarship winners

The Austin County Farm Bureau is pleased to announce scholarship winners for the Class of 2021. $500 scholarships $500 scholarships are being awarded to Cameron Hein and Rhys Reichardt of Sealy as well as Kyle Peschel, Lee Michalik and Hunter Schumann from Bellville.
