Sealy, Bellville add one team in UIL realignment

The University Interscholastic League announced its biennial district realignment for football, volleyball and basketball Thursday morning, Feb. 3.
Sealy and Bellville’s football district remained the same with the addition of West Columbia and the volleyball and basketball districts also remained intact with the addition of Needville. Both were opponents of Sealy’s two alignments ago.
FORRESTER NAMED ALL-STATE

Sealy junior defensive lineman William Forrester was among the honorees to earn a spot on a Padilla Poll All-State team, as voted on by Class 4A Division II coaches. Forrester was a force in the trenches and was recognized as one of 19 on the second-team defense.
Lady Knights rely on defense

Tuesday night, Jan. 25, at the Beth Keaton Gymnasium in Bellville, the Faith Academy Lady Knights made a strong return to the win column with a 26-19 final score over Conroe Lifestyle.

The Blinn College District named a school-record 199 student-athletes to the fall 2021 Don Wilhelm Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, surpassing the previous mark of 196 set during the spring 2021 semester.
