JASON.MANAGO-GRAVES@SEALYNEWS.COM WALLIS — After getting off to a good start by sweeping Smithville High School 3-0 in their home opener, the Brazos High School volleyball team encountered a few pitfalls in the Columbus High School tournament. The match took place Aug.

Last Friday, the Sealy High School Tigers football team traveled south of Houston to scrimmage the Bellaire Episcopal High School Knights. Participation by the freshman, junior varsity and varsity teams gave coaches a chance to see how the players applied what they learned in practices.

After hosting a tri-meet Aug. 13 on the Sealy High School grounds, the Tigers cross-country team is looking forward to getting their season started at home.

The Sealy High School volleyball team Aug. 9 hosted the Kempner High School Cougars to start their 2022 season, with the Lady Tigers winning three sets.
