It’s a nationwide forest school program that just started in September, it is first branch in Houston originating all from San Antonio Emily Wisian, a camp instructor, expresses the need for students to have a unique experience instead of the typical routine.

Pickleball courts in Sealy officially open for action

With a ribbon cutting and a tournament to benefit the Sealy Pregnancy Center, the Sealy Pickleball Courts are officially open and ready for action. The Austin County Rotary Club took on the project to bring pickleball to Sealy and ushered in a new era of sporting activity in the city by putting the finishing touches on the court during the October tournament.

USDA to begin issuing $2.14 billion to agricultural producers

COLLEGE STATION – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that it will begin issuing more than $2.14 billion in payments to eligible agricultural producers, and landowners—providing much needed support through key conservation and safety- net programs. Producers should soon receive payments from USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) for their participation in these programs aimed to conserve natural resources and keep family farms economically viable.
