Austin County EEA explores Texas Railroad History at Rosenberg Railroad Museum

In April, several members of the Austin County Extension Education Association (EEA) embarked on an educational field trip to the Rosenberg Railroad Museum in Rosenberg, Texas. The visit offered participants a unique opportunity to delve into the rich railroad heritage of Fort Bend County through an array of engaging exhibits. Attendees explored detailed model train layouts, historical artifacts, maps, photographs, and memorabilia that vividly illustrated the pivotal role of railroads in the region’s development. The exhibits provided and enhanced the group’s understanding of both historical and contemporary rail operations.
