Our precious mother, Claudia Rodriguez, (age 86) passed away on June 9, 2022, after a long and full life. She is very loved and will hold a place dear in our hearts filled with treasured memories of her.

Service was held for Mr. Jesse “Wade King” on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at the Sealy Knights of Columbus, 1310 US-90, Sealy, Texas.

Penny Louise Fuhlman Crist Hoke, 77, of Sealy, Texas, passed away on June 25, 2022. She was born to parents Harry and Ruby Fuhlman on March 5, 1945, in Muscatine, Iowa.

Danny Alton Nichols, age 59, passed away on June 24, 2022. Danny was born on April 23, 1963, in Bellville, Texas to parents Thomas Murrell and Billie Jean Nichols.

Richard E. “Dick” Sliva, a lifelong resident of Wallis, died on June 20, 2022. He was born on July 27, 1946 in Sealy to Frank J. Sliva, Jr. and Pauline (Starustka) Sliva. Raised in Wallis, Richard attended Guardian Angel Catholic School and graduated from Wallis High School in 1964. He graduated from Wharton County Junior College and worked for 37 years for the Texas Highway Department in Rosenberg.

Fay Marie (Schluens) Johnson, 81, passed away to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. Fay was born September 17, 1940, in Sealy, Texas, to Fred Charles and Evelyn (Goebel) Schluens.

Robert Lane Emshoff of Sealy, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 21, 2022, at the age of 70. Even though a failing heart took him away from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for his family and friends.

Emalyn Hintz Buchtien passed on to be with her Savior Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Emalyn was born in Sealy, Texas, on March 7, 1930, to George and Florine (Hartsfield) Hintz.

Louis Trant Jordy, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away May 19, 2022, in Santa Marta, Columbia, where he had been living with his loving wife Ruth Lopez Jordy for the past year. Memorial services were held May 25, 2022, at Peace Gardens in Santa Marta, Columbia, where he was laid to rest.

Kathryn Margaret Briggs Sweet, 92, daughter of Harold D. and Margaret Lenz Briggs, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2022, with her children beside her.
